A fantastic place where you can combine active pursuits like walking and (road) cycling with sun, pool and beach, in a beautiful, central and typically Spanish setting. Away from mass tourism, but certainly not remote.

We had a wonderful stay in this villa. That was mainly because it is very completely furnished, has a good aspect for the sun, and there is a lot on hand to make the stay comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful, especially if you like walking and cycling. Highly recommended!

A lovely spacious house with various seating corners outside in the sun or the shade, more than fully equipped and with every comfort. The pool is delightful. Alcalalí is within driving distance of towns, lovely beaches, nice restaurants and so on. We had a wonderful week and would happily come back to see more of the Costa Blanca!

We had marvellous days at Villa Arbolada with our family (six adults in total). The house is beautifully situated (fantastic view) and has genuinely every comfort. Even a lovely espresso machine. It was really good that Ernest could be contacted directly with questions during our stay. He also gave us a great many tips beforehand. The website offers a lot of information too. We came in December and sadly could not use the beautiful pool … so we really will have to come back ☀⛱

It is simply a lovely, well-furnished house; wonderful that there are five terraces where you can happily retreat! The pool is perfect, and in the area you can walk and cycle beautifully and there are many good restaurants!

It is far nicer here than on the often too-busy coast, which you can reach within half an hour.

The villa was lovely to stay in – spacious and clean and with every imaginable item in the kitchen to make meals a breeze for when not eating out. There were lots of games and books for when the rain swept in one afternoon and the balcony/verandah was a real bonus. Sitting there watching the clouds clothe the hills was an experience. It was lovely swimming up and down the pool to the scent of the warm pines from the trees around. The pool is quite deep note so not good for small children (or short people!). It was a great base for hiking with lots of walks within a short drive. Only two snags of note – lack of toilet paper anywhere when we arrived late at night and post the rain a small couple of leaks in the kitchen. Neither detracted from an overall excellent stay. We also appreciated the personal touch prior to arrival to let us know about festivals on locally and the information packs laid out clearly in the property to give lots of ideas on what to do.
